My thoughts

I grabbed a copy of this via Kindle Unlimited.  I must admit before I write this review, that I do enjoy books by Mark Edwards and this was no different in that respect. 

Telling the story of two friends who reunite at a reunion and rekindle their romance 20 years later after having been a couple in their youth.  While on holiday in Iceland, Matthew and Helena while out hiking one day have a freak accident that finds Helena clinging on for her life over the edge of a cliff.

We all have secrets that we keep from one another, but Helena feels that this is the time to reveal a secret to Matthew that he didn't really want to hear or believe.  On their return home, it becomes clear that maybe Matthew wasn't the only one who heard the secret that had been revealed to him.  Events begin to take on a nasty turn as it becomes apparent that someone plans to blackmail her.  What can be done to prevent this happening, Matthew has some serious decisions to make if he is to keep secrets hidden.

I was soon swept up in the events that soon escalated for this pair in lots of ways.  If you need something to sweep you up and let you escape into the lives of others, then this is the perfect read for you.
