My thoughts

Please be aware that if you're lookng for lots of erotic action in this, it's not littered with it and for that reason it makes the story even better in my eyes. Personally I don't feel that erotic reads need to be all action as that detracts away from the story in some instances.

Allie Green is a cop with a past that she prefers to keep under wraps.

Tristan Cross runs a business and he has need for a new employee to help with an assignment. He has his eyes and mind set on Allie to fulfil this role.

Allie likes to play hard to get but she has more than met her match in Tristan.

I loved the interactions between Allie and Tristan and look forward to reading the second in this trilogy in due course.

The story is slow moving at the start but as you get around half way through the action hots up (not necessarily in a sexy erotic steamy way) and it'll more than keep you reading, well it did me anyway.

Thanks to NetGalley and the Publishers for an ARC copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.
I gave this a 6/10.
