My thanks to Samantha Tonge for a free e-book copy of this as a competition win. I had so much on my mind, that I didn't realise I already had a copy of this from the Publishers and NetGalley too. I would never have entered the competition if I'd realised.
Anyway I've digressed already. I had a copy of this from NetGalley and as such it's always in exchange for an honest review.
I liked the premise of the story, it was an easy light hearted read. I liked the characters and what's not to like when one of the characters is likened to Poldark. Who doesn't like all things Poldark at the moment and the lovely Aidan Turner, I think most women would love their own Aidan Turner.
I've digressed again, back to the review. It was an easy read, but it was lacking something to me. It didn't hold my attention, sorry to say. I might be in the minority with my thoughts as their are plenty of 5 star reviews of this story around, but it's not one of them from me.
It'll make a nice change to the wintry days, that we'll all soon be experiencing. So grab a copy and take yourself away from the wet weather and find a little bit of Cornish sunshine.
