My thoughts

It's been ages since I've read anything like this. Whilst Andrew Gross is writing on his own, it has all the trademarks of a James Patterson book. The short chapters, easy read thriller that keeps you engaged from start to finish. A roller coaster that keeps you on the edge of your seat at each twist and turn.

What would you do if your world is completely turned on it's head and what you once believed about your Family and childhood is not all as is it seems. This is the dilemma/scenario that Kate Raab finds herself in.

Whilst I liked this story, I didn't love it. I don't know what I'd have done if I'd been in Kate's shoes and think she handled things well. She was a great heroine and I enjoyed her relationship with Greg.

If you enjoy easy read thrillers then this is the book for you. 6/10.
