20 Books of Summer 22 Reading Challenge roundup

Well at the start of the 20 Books of Summer reading challenge this year organised by Cathy Brown @cathy746books on Twitter. I did comment that I wasn't committing to reading 20 as there has been so much going on this year.  I actually read 17 books in total and I am on my 18th, but that will not have been finished in time to add to the challenge.

Books read.

1.  A Terrible Kindness by Jo Browning Wroe.

2.  The Next Queen of Heaven by Gregory Maguire.

3.  The Lost Daughter by Gill Paul.

4.  Bad For Good by Graham Bartlett.

5.  The Dance Tree by Kiran Millwood Hargrave.

6.  The Redeemer by Victoria Goldman.

7.  The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.

8.  Philip ~ The Final Portrait by Gyles Brandreth.

9.  Shiver by Allie Reynolds.

10. Would I Lie to You by Aliya Ali-Afzal.

11. When I had a Little Sister by Catherine Simpson.

12. Caraval (Caraval #1) by Stephanie Garber.

13. Romancing Mister Bridgerton (Bridgertons #4) by Julia Quinn.

14. The Bletchley Women by Patricia Adrian.

15. Hamnet by Maggie O'Farrell.

16. Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens.

17. It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover.

Books to be read.

The books below are books that I listed in the 10 books that I intended reading, sadly I didn't get them finished.

The Foundling by Stacey Halls. Reading.  I made a start on this one.

Wedlock: How Georgian Britain's Worst Husband Met His Match by Wendy Moore. Currently reading.  I was currently reading this one before the challenge started as it's a book that you can dip in and out of.

Great Circle by Maggie Shipstead.

A Million Dreams by Dani Atkins.

Conclusion

I managed to read 6 out of the 10 that I originally listed to read and 10 that I added to the challenge as I went along.  Book 17 wasn't listed at all.
