From Goodreads

Hungry for a touch…

Rana Malik is over being her family’s resident black sheep. She’s on a mission: ditch the casual hook-ups, revamp her bad-girl image, and fall in love with a proper Mr. Right even her conservative mama can’t find fault with. Not on the menu? The beautiful, brooding Mr. Right Now who lives next door, and all the ways he whets her appetite.

Starving for love…

Artist Micah Hale had it all–women, success, friends and family–until his world changed in a single act of senseless violence. Now struggling to conceal his scars and get his life and career back on track, he knows he has nothing to offer a woman except his body. He’s not looking for love…but he can’t control his craving for the sexy bombshell voyeur he’s caught looking at him.

Just one bite.>

Their attraction boils over, and their defenses are stripped off along with their clothes. They promise they’ll walk away if it gets too hot. But it’s hard to do the right thing…when being wrong feels so good.

My thoughts

My thanks to the Publishers and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

I gave this story 4 stars or 8/10. I was completely drawn into Rana & Micah's lives. I devoured the story quickly continuing with it when I could and reading into the early hours of the morning.

This is the first book of Alisha Rai's that I've read, when I requested this I didn't realise that it was the second one in a series. I feel that this reads well as a standalone, as it centres predominantly on two different characters to Glutton for Pleasure the first in the series.

Well written and with some hot erotic passages that are in no way gratuitous and enhance the storyline between Rana & Micah, at it's heart though is romance rather than pure erotica.

Rana is one of three sisters who between them run a Restaurant that they inherited from their Parents. Rana appears to have been a disappointment to her Mum as she can't see beyond the unsuitable men that Rana has been involved with. Rana's Mum is keen to have her settle down and tries to entice her daughter with men that she deems eligible. Rana is very headstrong and has no intention at all of being brow beaten by her Mum. She wants to change, but it has to be someone that she herself is drawn too.

Micah is an artist with a past, he has secrets and scars that he prefers to keep hidden. In an attempt to escape his past he moves to America. He hides behind his Art. He is very reclusive and is somewhat of an insomniac, spending most of the night awake channelling his insomnia into his Art.

Rana first sees Micah through his window, he is a new neighbour. She likes what she sees and soon develops an unhealthy stalkerish, voyeuristic crush on him. Watching him at every available moment that she can. Can this crush develop into anything more for her? She knows she shouldn't be watching him, but she can't help herself. It's not too long before Micah realises that he is being watched, he senses that he is not alone. What will he do?

Grab a copy of this great read from Amazon or other retailers and immerse yourself in their life as I did. I doubt you'll be disappointed.
