Here Comes Jack Frost by Kazuno Kohara

From Goodreads

One cold morning a lonely boy wishes for something to do. His animal friends are hibernating, and he has nobody to play with-even all the birds have flown south. When he meets Jack Frost, the last thing he expects is to make a new friend... or to discover how enchanting winter can be!

My thoughts

This was a copy that my daughter had borrowed from the mobile Library van that visits her area.

I read this story to my granddaughter.  It was not the first time that she had heard it as she knew what was happening and was retelling the story to me as I read it to her.

It was an enjoyable story that tells the tale of a young boy who meets Jack Frost and befriends him, only for him to disappear on him.
