My thoughts
2.5 stars. Better late than never with the review, I read this story back in August 2014.

When the worlds of Royce Walker (former FBI Agent and currently working alongside his brothers in a newly set up Private Security firm) and Lauren Reynolds (Assistant District Attorney) collide the atmosphere is set to sizzle and the temperatures begin to soar.
Royce has been employed by Lauren's father to protect her, as he suspects things might not be quite right with a case she's working on.
As Royce and Lauren become more involved with one another professionally and personally, the lines between the two become increasingly blurred and Royce becomes a little too protective of Lauren as his feelings for her deepen.
Lisa Renee Jones, is quite a prolific writer and whilst the story wasn't too badly written the development of the characters could have been a little deeper.
This is the first in a series but can easly be read as a standalone.
