Sara's Game by Ernie Lindsey

Sara's Game

From Goodreads

Two years ago, Sara's husband left for the gym one morning...and never came back. His car was found. He wasn't. Unbelievably, the police report said, "No foul play suspected." There were a few unreliable sightings over the following months, but little else.

Now, on the last day before summer break, her three children have gone missing from their schools, all at the same time.

And the note under her windshield wiper asks one simple question: Are you ready to play the game?

My review

This is the first in the Sara Winthrop series consisting of Sara's Game, Sara's Past and Sara's Fear.

I got this one as a freebie e-book from Amazon.

When Sara finds out that her children have gone missing she's drawn into a game of cat and mouse.   As she is given more and more instructions as the game progresses she begins to wonder who is behind it all.

A roller coaster of a story that's an easy read but a right page turner as the reader is drawn further into the game.

Who can she trust and who's behind it all?  Only Sara can discover that answer.

I have gone on and bought the second and third in this series on the strength of this first book and hope they live up to my expectations.  I gave this an 8/10.
